About

The engineering faculty of Aligarh Muslim University, founded in 1935 as the Muslim University Engineering College and renamed in 1988 after India's third President. It sits inside AMU's vast residential campus, so students get a full central-university experience — halls of residence, sport and cultural life — rather than a standalone engineering college one. AMU's engineering ranking sits in the national top 40, and admission now runs on JEE Main scores.
