About
PES began in 1972 as PES College of Engineering and became a full private university under a Karnataka state act in 2013, with campuses on Ring Road, Electronic City and Hanumanthanagar. It is best known for a computer science programme that competes directly with the older Bengaluru colleges for the top KCET and COMEDK ranks. Its in-house research centres, including the team behind the PISAT nanosatellite, give undergraduates genuine hands-on project work.
