About
NLUJA Assam is the north-east's national law university, established in 2009 at Guwahati and unusual in combining an NLU with a state judicial academy on the same footing. Its five-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons) is admitted through CLAT and its cohorts are among the smallest of any NLU. Proximity to the Gauhati High Court and the judicial academy makes it a natural fit for students eyeing the bench and bar.
