{"id":"college/cb-premier-nluja","kind":"college","v":1,"title":"National Law University and Judicial Academy Assam","line":"College · Guwahati, Assam · NIRF 2025 #35 Law · Law","about":"NLUJA Assam is the north-east's national law university, established in 2009 at Guwahati and unusual in combining an NLU with a state judicial academy on the same footing. Its five-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons) is admitted through CLAT and its cohorts are among the smallest of any NLU. Proximity to the Gauhati High Court and the judicial academy makes it a natural fit for students eyeing the bench and bar.","aliases":["NLUJA Assam"],"tags":["state:assam","city:guwahati","sector:govt","stream:law","tier:2","exam:clat","profile:yes","quality:verified","from:campusbinge"],"facts":[{"label":"Type","value":"College · Government","trust":"unverified","source":0},{"label":"Where","value":"Guwahati, Assam","trust":"unverified","source":0},{"label":"NIRF 2025","value":"#35 Law","trust":"verified","source":1},{"label":"Founded","value":"2009","trust":"unverified","source":0},{"label":"Website","value":"https://www.nluassam.ac.in/","trust":"unverified","source":0}],"data":{"has":{"sports":false,"cutoffs":false,"admissions":false,"placements":false,"programmes":false,"examCutoffs":false},"lat":null,"lon":null,"city":"Guwahati","fees":{"pg":null,"ug":null,"note":"Per year, as listed on Shiksha via Campus Binge"},"naac":null,"name":"National Law University and Judicial Academy Assam","nirf":[{"rank":35,"year":2025,"score":null,"category":"Law"}],"tier":2,"type":"Other","email":null,"phone":null,"state":"Assam","hostel":true,"listed":{"city":"Guwahati","fees":{"pg":null,"ug":null},"type":"Other","state":"Assam","ratings":{"overall":null},"outcomes":{"medianLpa":null,"placementPct":null},"management":"Government"},"siteId":"cb-premier-nluja","stream":"Law","address":null,"aicteId":"PREMIER-NLUJA","pincode":null,"ratings":{"faculty":null,"overall":null,"shiksha":null,"academic":null,"placement":null,"socialLife":null,"infrastructure":null},"streams":["law"],"website":"https://www.nluassam.ac.in/","district":"Guwahati","outcomes":{"note":"Small batches place into law firms, corporate legal departments, PSUs and litigation; the attached judicial academy gives unusually close exposure to the judiciary and to judicial services preparation.","intake":60,"placed":null,"graduated":null,"medianLpa":null,"placementPct":null,"avgPackageLpa":null,"highestPackageLpa":null},"prestige":-1865,"tierNote":"Internal Campus Binge tier for sorting, not a ranking.","facilities":[],"management":"Government","provenance":{"confidence":"medium","fieldEvidence":{},"profileSource":"campusbinge_400_aug2026","verifiedFields":[],"descriptionSource":"curated_batch_aug2026"},"university":"National Law University and Judicial Academy Assam","affiliation":"State University (NLU Act)","campusAcres":null,"dataQuality":"verified","established":2009,"accreditation":"Approved by the Bar Council of India","entranceExams":["CLAT"],"notableAlumni":[],"otherRankings":[],"popularCourses":["B.A. LL.B.
