About
Founded in 1830 by Alexander Duff, this is the oldest continuously running Christian liberal arts college in Asia and a Church of North India minority institution. Its alumni register includes both Swami Vivekananda and Subhas Chandra Bose, which is about as much history as an undergraduate college can carry. Today it remains one of Kolkata's strongest colleges for physics, chemistry, economics and English.
