About

Founded in 1948 by the DAV College Managing Committee in memory of Mahatma Hansraj, this North Campus college is ranked 3rd among all Indian colleges in NIRF 2025 and is Delhi University's strongest science college after Hindu and Miranda House. It has a genuinely famous alumni list for a three-year undergraduate college, and its Rajdhani cultural festival is among DU's biggest. Fees are government-college low despite the college being trust-managed.
