Kirori Mal is a North Campus institution ranked 4th among Indian colleges in NIRF 2025, with an unusual mix of top-tier science and humanities departments on a single sprawling campus. It is best known for The Players, DU's most storied theatre society, which produced Amitabh Bachchan, Satish Kaushik and a long line of Hindi film and stage actors. Its co-ed, boisterous campus culture is a deliberate contrast to DU's more buttoned-up colleges.
