## Delhi Technological University

State institution · North West Delhi, Delhi · NIRF 2025 #30 Engineering · Engineering & Technology

Formerly Delhi College of Engineering, DTU traces back to the 1941 Delhi Polytechnic and became a state university in 2009. Its 164-acre Bawana Road campus is one of Delhi's biggest engineering campuses and it consistently ranks just outside the IIT/top-NIT tier nationally. The pull here is location plus recruiter density — a Delhi address means access to a placement season most state universities cannot match.
