College · Pune, Maharashtra · Law

Founded in 1924, ILS is one of India's oldest law colleges and has trained generations of Maharashtra's bar and bench from its campus on Pune's Law College Road. It is not an NLU and does not chase corporate placements, but the teaching tradition, the library and the litigation network are formidable - and the total fee is a fraction of what an NLU or private law school costs. Admission is through the Maharashtra state law CET.
