Sreenivasaiah, BMSCE was the first privately financed engineering college in India and remains one of Bengaluru's most established technical institutions. Its campus in Basavanagudi is small and city-centre rather than sprawling, which students trade for unmatched proximity to Bengaluru's tech industry. It has been autonomous under VTU for years and offers unusual branches such as Medical Electronics.","aliases":["BMSCE"],"tags":["state:karnataka","city:bangalore-urban","type:state","sector:govt","stream:engineering","tier:3","profile:yes","quality:verified","from:campusbinge"],"facts":[{"label":"Type","value":"State institution · Government Aided","trust":"unverified","source":0},{"label":"Where","value":"Bangalore Urban, Karnataka","trust":"unverified","source":0},{"label":"Founded","value":"1946","trust":"unverified","source":0},{"label":"Median salary (listed)","value":"₹7 L a year","trust":"unverified","source":0},{"label":"University","value":"Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum","trust":"unverified","source":0},{"label":"Website","value":"https://www.bmsce.ac.in/","trust":"unverified","source":0}],"data":{"has":{"sports":false,"cutoffs":false,"admissions":false,"placements":false,"programmes":false,"examCutoffs":false},"lat":null,"lon":null,"city":"Bangalore Urban","fees":{"pg":null,"ug":null,"note":"Per year, as listed on Shiksha via Campus Binge"},"naac":null,"name":"B.M.S.College Of Engineering","nirf":[],"tier":3,"type":"State","email":null,"phone":null,"state":"Karnataka","hostel":true,"listed":{"city":"Bangalore Urban","fees":{"pg":null,"ug":null},"type":"State","state":"Karnataka","ratings":{"overall":null},"outcomes":{"medianLpa":7,"placementPct":null},"management":"Government Aided"},"siteId":"cb-1-44643785315","stream":"Engineering","address":null,"aicteId":null,"pincode":null,"ratings":{"faculty":null,"overall":null,"shiksha":null,"academic":null,"placement":null,"socialLife":null,"infrastructure":null},"streams":["engineering"],"website":"https://www.bmsce.ac.in/","district":"Bangalore Urban","outcomes":{"note":"Approximate recent-season figures.
